Democrats For Education Reform (DFER) DC supports parents, community organizers, educators, reform advocates, and civic leaders with the goal of creating an ecosystem of bold and diverse education leaders who can deliver on education equity in Washington, DC public schools.

The Problem
As the local DC chapter of the national DFER organization, the new leadership was continuously challenged by brand confusion, vocal online detractors, and not proactively telling their own story.

The Impact
Through messaging, social media, and developing a dedicated DFER DC website, Semloh implemented a fully integrated solution that allowed the organization to begin creating and publishing content outside of the national organization’s branding. It reduced the online naysayers and enabled the Chapter to focus on educating DC voters on Democratic candidates and elected officials’ positions on key K-12 public education issues that were aligned with DFER DC’s core values.
